Uniaxial Geogrid:
Uniaxial tension plastic geogrid is extruded by macromolecule polymers, and formed by longitudinal tension. This kind of geogrid is integrity with uniform distributed elliptical net structures. It has high tensile strength and tensile modulus. With this kind of structure, the geogrid provides an ideal interlock system for the soil. It has high unidirectional strength and endurance, and high lateral restraints for soil-rock mixtures. All property indexes of it are superior to geogrid without tension. It is an ideal reinforced material at present, such as reinforced earth structures in reinforced retraining wall, reinforced steep slope, bridged abutment and highway, railway and airport.
Description:
Uniaxial Geogrid is manufactured from High Density Polyethylene(HDPE) or Polypropylene(PP). It is produced through the process of extruding, punching, heating and stretching.

Applications
Uniaxial geogrids are compositional materials for civil engineering with high intensity which be widely used for embankment, tunnels, docks, roads, railways and other constructional fields and their main usages are as follows.
a. Consolidate road foundations and distribute the load effectively. By these means, the road foundations may have a better stability, endurance and a longer life.
b. Help road foundations to bear protean heavy loads.
c. Avoid granular base loss and cracking.
d. Enhance self-load of filled soil behind the slopes and distribute the pressure of slopes as well as reduce the cost of construction and maintenance but increase its lifespan.
e. Servicing slopes by fusing concrete allow to save investment by 30 percent to 50 percent as well as to shorten the period at least by 50 percent compared to tradition un-reinforced ones.
